Weight of Life: Nourishing Bodies, Nurturing Futures

Here at Rose CGI, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter, we believe that caring for children goes beyond serving meals. Thanks to the generosity of the Gary and Madoka Foundation, the undernourished children of Balabag Elementary School enjoyed healthy, filling food lovingly prepared by our devoted parents and teachers.

While the meals were being prepared and cooked, the classrom came alive with Child Friendly Space Activities—games, laughter, and creative play that made the children feel safe, valued, and free to be themselves.

To our tireless volunteers, thank you for making sure every detail was cared for, every child was attended to, and every smile was made brighter.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
