Bringing Hope Through Compassion: Rose CGI Partners with Bahay Aruga

Jul 22, 2026

Rose Colored Glasses International Inc. is proud to partner with Bahay Aruga, a halfway house in Manila that provides shelter, care, and support for pediatric cancer patients and their families while they undergo treatment at Philippine General Hospital. For many children, Bahay Aruga is more than a place to stay. It is a safe space where they can rest, receive nourishment, and feel cared for during a very difficult time.

In our first month working together, Rose CGI helped support their daily needs through nutritious food, vegetables, snacks, and simple moments of joy for the children and families staying there. We are grateful to stand beside Bahay Aruga in their mission to bring comfort, care, and hope to children facing cancer treatment. This partnership reminds us that even small acts of support can help make each day a little lighter.

Rose CGI and Bahay Aruga express our warmest thanks and kindest regards to our generous benefactors, the Gary and Madoka Foundation.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
