Food security and child nutrition remain foundational pillars for sustainable community development in the Philippines. Through Rose CGI’s Weight of Life 2026 Supplementary Feeding Program, we recently hit a vital milestone in our ongoing mission to combat childhood malnutrition and support grassroots communities.
Over the course of the initiative, 100 children in Sitio Cagban Ibabaw, Barangay Manocmanoc, Boracay Island received freshly prepared, highly nutritious meals served twice every week.
Strengthening Communities Through Local Collaboration
True sustainable impact is never achieved in isolation. With the invaluable operational support of the Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter, this initiative quickly evolved into something much larger than a standard food distribution drive.
By combining resources, local insights, and emergency health expertise, the program transformed into a holistic showcase of care, deep-rooted community spirit, and the enduring Filipino value of Bayanihan in action. Beyond addressing immediate caloric and dietary needs, the bi-weekly gatherings provided a safe, supportive space for local families to connect and engage.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Partners
