Long activities on Disaster Resilience,

Sep 4, 2023

As the Nation celebrated month long activities on Disaster Resilience, the project REDEEM had its share with the residents of Brgy. Nabaoy through CPR Training, Hygiene Promotion, Disaster Preparedness and Dengue Awareness Campaign. These awareness sessions are made possible through a partnership with Rose Colored Glasses International and the Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter. We are true to our commitment in equipping households with proper knowledge and skills on Lifesaving and Disaster preparedness. We are grateful to the continued support of our donors, the Gary and Madoka Foundation.

Each of the participants received 5 kilos of rice each and Hygiene kits. The remaining packs were turned over to the school to be utilized in the ongoing learning camp of their students.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
