Brgy. Nabaoy

Oct 24, 2022

In building healthier, safer and resilient communities, Project REDEEM went to Brgy. Nabaoy, the lone source of potable water for Boracay Island and residents of Malay.
This river also brings livelihood through tourism but not a steady source of income because during typhoon or heavy rainfalls, the river swells and is becoming a hazzard to the community. Through this project beneficiaries were taught of lifesaving skills not only to save their family members in times of emergency but also as an added skill for their jobs.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
