REGINE ORDAS – BBQ Meats Lady
Regine is living quite far away as her village, Yapak in Boracay is isolated from the rest of the island, but she is profitable in terms of her BBQ meats business.
Regine is an agriculturist by profession. She plants and sells vegetables. She is married and blessed with four children. During this pandemic, her husband was hospitalized due to hypertension. Since no work means no pay, Regine needed additional capital to support her trading of fresh produce so she can feed her family and pay bills. Then Rose CGI approved her for a grilled barbeque business. The business has earned for her good enough profit that she is able to provide for her family since she is the only one selling BBQ in her community.
The BBQ has evolved to a piggery and chicken growing business plus her vegetables of course.
Ms.Regine is a model for local ladies looking for self sufficiency during this difficult time.
