What Keeps the Weight of Life Program Alive: Rose CGI’s Community Feeding Efforts in Barangay Manocmanoc

Nov 19, 2025

What keeps our Weight of Life program alive?
The love of parents, the laughter of children, and a community that believes every child deserves nourishment and care.

From the heart of Rose CGI, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter, with the generosity of the Gary and Madoka Foundation, we’re honored to stand beside the families of Cagban Ibabaw, sharing warmth, food, and hope, one meal at a time.

Every plate served is a reminder that progress happens in small, meaningful steps. Each day, parents show unwavering dedication, preparing meals that fuel their children’s growth. Their quiet strength inspires us to continue showing up with the same compassion and commitment.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
