Rose CGI’s COVID-19 Relief Aid

Jun 16, 2020

On June 8, Rose CGI had the pleasure to join international friends and distributed milk and vitamins for kids 5 years and under. We helped over 90 under privileged families in Boracay.
Tourism is the main source of livelihood on our island home and and no work and no pay is the norm. Often people have no savings or safety net to rely on.
The island has now been closed since the 15th of March and the outlook continues to be challenging for local families.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
