Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter and Manocmanoc Elementary

Jan 5, 2024

Rose Colored Glasses International in Partnership with Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter and Manocmanoc Elementary has implemented several supplementary feeding programs to 150 underweight and stunted school children. Twice a week these children are provided with healthy meals prepared by volunteer parents who have undergone Nutrition Orientation under a licensed Nutritionist, the teachers on the other hand monitors attendance and consumption of the beneficiaries.
Malnutrition is evident among low income groups, hidden in this beautiful Island of Boracay. We are grateful to our valuable donors The Gary and Madoka Foundation for supporting this initiative. We hope to continue filling little tummies and create positive impact to the community.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
