National Disability Rights Week

Sep 7, 2024

Project REDEEM of Rose Colored Glasses International and Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter joined the National Disability Rights Week celebration in Manocmanoc Covered Court. Lifesaving knowledge and skills were shared to 120 PWD attendees. Despite some physical limits, they were given the opportunity to demonstrate CPR. Timely for this year’s theme “Promoting Inclusion: Celebrating Abilities and Advocating Access.”
Smiles were painted on their faces after receiving rice and hygiene kits. Thanks to our kind donors, the Gary and Madoka Foundation for being the fuel of hope to the most vulnerable.
The municipal Mayor and Brgy. leaders were also present on the event.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
