Ms. Novelita’s Food Cart Business

Mar 29, 2021

Rose CGI is pleased to fund and monitor Ms. Novelita’s food cart business. Thank you to Sealed Air Corporation for supporting our Sustainable Income Producing Projects for 2021.
Food cart is a type of business that is located on the sidewalk selling street foods for affordable prices. We call this food as pica pica (snack foods), like fishball, kikiam, (Chinese sausage), siomai (dumplings), kwek-kwek (fried quail eggs) and other home-made products. Novelita also sells and distributes frozen food products to her neighbors. While she’s not busy in her food cart business, she also sews and accepts school and company uniform orders. She does flower arrangements as well for a side business.
With her profits earned from her hard work, Novelita is able to provide herself and her children with their daily needs.
Goodluck Novelita. Wishing you continued success in your business.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
