Mary Grace P. Montebon – The Rice Lady Story

Nov 1, 2021

Grace is an accounting graduate and has accountancy experiences with hotels and resorts on the island. When she became an apostle of one of the prominent religious leaders in the country, Grace decided to forego a corporate career and served her new found enlightenment by going into entrepreneurship.
She started by selling snack items and evolved to grocery items and now, rice trading. With the rice trading capital she acquired from Rose CGI, and Sealed Air Corporation she is able to distribute sacks of rice to the members of her religious group. She has diversified and grown her rice business into a supplier of 120 members. She also has a restaurant as a regular customer of her rice business.
Grace sustains her small businesses by practicing her accountancy skills. She is married and has a son to help her in the operations of their business.
Continued success to Ms. Mary.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
