Five minutes. It only takes that short amount of time for an individual to survive or expire from a massive bleeding or cardiac arrest. Project REDEEM in Partnership with Rose Colored Glasses International and Philippine Red Cross went back to Cagban Ibabaw in Manocmanoc to instill a very important skill-Lifesaving. Regardless of age and gender, everyone was given the opportunity to try compressing the CPR Dummies until they were able to do the proper chest compressions, depth and rythm. They were also taught of common emergencies and first aid management. Family members were provided 5 kilos of rice each and hygiene kits. Thank you to our valued donors, the Gary and Madoka Foundation for the constant support.
About Robert
I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
