Cubay Elementary School

Dec 27, 2022

It’s the first time to receive school kits for some of the children beneficiaries of Cubay Elementary School. We would over heard them exclaiming in happines over erasers printed with cartoon characters. Teacher-In-Charge Marlyn shared “Owa-owa gid” meaning their families are really poor and that parents have no steady means of income, relying only on fishing, planting crops and carpentry, all seasonal and temporary livelihood. Thanks to Brighten Up A life Project of Rose CGI in partnership with Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter, we have reached a total of 500 children in Mainland Malay and Boracay Island through school supplies provisions.

Than you very much to our sponsor, the Gary and Madoka Foundation.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
