Contributing to healthier and resilient communities

Oct 31, 2024

Contributing to healthier and resilient communities, Project REDEEM of Rose Colored Glasses International and Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter spent the day with Boracay Natives, sharing knowledge about common diseases especially during typhoon season. The heavy rains these past weeks brought flooding in some villages and risking the community to infections.
Today was extra special, as we were joined in by our dedicated physician from Municipal Health Office who did medical check up, while the adults are being checked, kids learned about CPR, Sanitation and Hand Hygiene.
Medicines, Hygiene Kits and Rice were provided to the beneficiaries.
Thank you to our generous sponsors the Gary and Madoka Foundation for supporting this cause.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
