10 mothers make up our pilot Rice Project.
Each mother is challenged to sell 250 kg. of rice per week to their neighbors. If successful, the profit will provide the basic needs for their families including education for their children.

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education.
