After the Storm, Hope Shines Brighter: Rose CGI’s Weight of Life Feeding Program in Barangay Manocmanoc

Nov 12, 2025

After every storm, the sun always finds its way back, shining brighter than before.
Just like the sun, Rose CGI continues to bring light to the community through the Weight of Life: Supplementary Feeding Program at Cagban Ibabaw, Barangay Manocmanoc.

Each meal served is more than food, it’s a symbol of hope and compassion, lovingly prepared by parents who pour their hearts into every dish. Their warmth reminds us that brighter days begin with simple acts of care.
Together with the Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter and through the generosity of the Gary and Madoka Foundation, we continue to nourish bodies, uplift spirits, and let kindness shine through, rain or shine.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
