National Learning Camp

Sep 26, 2024

This month, as part of the National Learning Camp, the “Weight of Life: Supplementary Feeding Program” made a significant impact at Manocmanoc Elementary School. Through collaboration with Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter, Rose Colored Glasses International and with generous funding from the Gary and Madoka Foundation, we successfully provided essential nutrition to the students.
Aligning with the National Learning Camp’s goals of nurturing young minds, we focused on delivering balanced and nourishing meals to ensure that the students received the vital sustenance. Proper nutrition is crucial for effective learning, and this program’s success highlights the importance of holistic support for education.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed—our dedicated volunteer parents, donors, and partners. Your unwavering support and generosity have brought hope, health, and the promise of a brighter future to these young learners. Together, we are fostering a healthier, more educated community. Let’s continue to make a difference, one meal and one lesson at a time.

About Robert

I am a Canadian living in Japan and the Philippines for more than 40 years. After surviving the tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, in December 2004, I decided it was finally time to act on a long held desire to do something for the children of the area who have less available to them in terms of health care, shelter and education. I have established a non profit organization that helps care for these needs of some children. I sincerely thank those who would like to contribute to the cause in any way, please email us at: info@rosecgi.org
